The ceremony, held at the First United Methodist Austin, was an emotional and heartfelt event. As Kate made her way down the aisle in her stunning gown with intricate details, Rich couldn’t hold back his tears. Their vows were filled with love, making for a beautiful start to their forever.

Kate and Rich’s Love Story Shines at Hotel Van Zandt
Kate and Rich met at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner, where Rich was streaming his football game on his phone. A conversation about their rival teams sparked the beginning of their relationship.
Rich planned to propose in Italy. However, they had to cancel the trip because of the pandemic. Instead, he proposed on the anniversary of their first date at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. It’s a restaurant with a beautiful lake view, and even had a photographer to capture the moment. As they were driving to the restaurant, Rich received a call from Amazon Web Services offering him the job of Partner Success Manager! Excitement and joy filled the evening, as Rich proposed and Kate said yes.
Though Italy would have been great, Kate wouldn’t trade this special moment for the world.
Their wedding day was phenomenal. When you think of the perfect walk down the aisle and the perfect groom’s reaction, you think of Kate and Rich. The same way, when you think of the perfect first dance as a couple, you think of them, too!
