The two quickly realized they had a special connection and, after just 6 weeks of dating, they knew they had found the one. Over the next year and a half, their love continued to grow and blossom, leading to a proposal that was both romantic and patriotic. On the 4th of July, Tyler took Katie to his family’s lake house where, with a stunning view of the water, he got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. It was a moment that perfectly captured the depth of their love and their shared future together.
