There is something about Carly and Nick’s wedding day that makes it feel like a happy ever after from a novel or a movie — but also feels absolutely real and pure.
It helps when the wedding is well-planned and beautifully executed. Simply XO events coordinated this occasion. Just like any other wedding they have done, this was seamless and full of precious moments. All About the Big Day
The excitement was in the already in the air during preparations. As they were getting ready, they all knew this was going to be a great day. Another wedding tip: surround yourself with people who are genuinely happy for you on your big day. Carly and Nick were surrounded by their loved ones who laughed, cried, and celebrated with them from start to finish. One highlight during the preparations was the first look between Carly and Nick. It was such a beautiful moment between the two, and the love and friendship they both share definitely shined.
The tears don’t end there. The ceremony was such a breathtaking event. As Carly walked down the aisle, you can see pure love and joy from her eyes and Nick’s. The two of them are proof that true love exists and finding your soulmate is possible. Carly and Nick are a match made in heaven and this entire day is also proof.
It’s amazing that this entire day had NO dull moments. Carly and Nick’s love definitely lit South Congress. They had a lovely celebration during the reception. The couple had their first dance, then the father-daughter and mother-and-son dances. Family and friends gave touching speeches and toasts. You can tell that everyone in the room had so much love for the newlyweds.

Carly and Nick’s Love Story radiates at South Congress Hotel
Carly and Nick’s love story began during their freshman year at A&M University. Their paths crossed and ignited a connection that would endure. After college, they were in long distance for a year and a half and then both decided to live in Austin together. They also have a wonderful addition to the family: a pup named Winston, who is a wheaten terrier!
Carly figured Nick was going to propose while on vacation because they both love traveling. However, June of 2021, they went to their favorite beach town, Rosemary Beach in FL for a vacation with Nick’s dad, stepmom, and little sisters. Carly had no clue that Nick was going to propose on that trip so she was completely taken off-guard! They had this family “Christmas card photoshoot” on the beach. When the two of them went away to walk by themselves, Nick proposed and had the photographer take the perfect pictures! It’s definitely a genius plan. Well done, Nick.
Then, they had a beautiful sunset picnic on the beach. The two of them celebrated with drinks and dinner downtown! Talk about the best day ever.
