Get to Know Nicole...
1. Do you have a dream shoot? If so, what is it? It would be amazing to gather all of my past couples together for a massive “Where Are They Now” shoot! I keep in touch with many of our clients over the years, and we often end up photographing their growing families, so doing this on a massive scale would truly be a dream come true!
2. What photoshoot idea have you been wanting to try? An adventure elopement on a mountain somewhere has been on my dream list for a while, so if you’re ready to take a hike (or ski lift, ATV, sleigh ride!) let me know – my bags are already packed!
3. Is there a specific location or destination you’ve always wanted to shoot at? Anywhere and everywhere! I can think of a thousand places around the world that would be a dream come true, but even the venues and locations we shoot at multiple times a year I always find something new to love.
Why our Clients Love Nicole...
She captures their special moments with versatility and skill
“Nicole and her team outdid themselves and provided so many gorgeous formal and candid photos. Nicole was SO easy to work with, and she was EVERYWHERE. I cannot believe how beautiful every single photo is (all 900+). It was such a pleasure working with her.” – Cali’s Mom
She cares about them so her work is done with love
“My Bridal Portraits were taken by Nicole, who is a gem! I love that she sat down for a chat with me (and my mom) during my session to find out more about Wyatt and me. She genuinely listened as I told her all about our sappy love story and the surprises we had planned for the wedding…” – Alexandrea
She is the kind of person you want to spend your wedding day with
“From our first meeting with her, we knew Nicole was the photographer for us! She is easy to talk to and full of energy and passion for her craft. Her approach to working with couples puts you at ease, and she’s the exact kind of person you want to spend your wedding day with (this is important as you end up spending a lot of time with your photographer). She went above and beyond and captured beautiful shots…” – Kaitlyn
How it All Started...
“My parents instilled a love of photography in me growing up, so I have always had a camera in hand, but it was during my husband’s deployment the year after we got married that acted as a catalyst for me to take it more seriously. He was going to miss our daughter’s birth and entire first year, so to help him feel close to us while he was away I picked out a Nikon d40 with a kit lens to record her milestones. This was in 2007, so we rarely had phone calls, and while we tried to make the most of the occasional grainy video chat we mainly stayed in touch through letters, emails, and of course photos.
It didn’t take long before friends and family suggested I offer photo shoots as a way to stay busy and share my art with others! We moved to Texas and I connected with a thriving photographer community, and by chance one of my friends asked me to assist her on a wedding day. I had been enjoying my years family photographer so much that I hadn’t considered moving to weddings, but that first day sparked something in my soul that made it clear that this was where my heart belonged! The very next day I dove head first into my journey as a wedding photographer, and I am so grateful every single day that I am able to share these important milestones with our amazing couples and their families!”
