Barr mansion, THROUGH OUR LENS
Coming back always feels a little familiar. We know the spaces, we know the flow of the day, and we know we’ll be working alongside a team that makes things easy.
There’s always a lot happening behind the scenes. Timelines change, weather comes into play, and little details need to be worked out. The Barr Mansion team has always been great about keeping us updated and making sure we have what we need.
That kind of communication makes a big difference on a wedding day. When everyone knows what’s happening and is willing to adjust when needed, we can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time paying attention to the couple and the people around them.
We also love that every wedding we film there feels a little different. The property gives each couple room to make the day their own, and we get to see it come together in a new way each time.
While we love the property itself, it’s the people we’ve gotten to work with that make it special. We’re grateful for every wedding we’ve been part of there and for the familiar faces who have welcomed us back each time.
We’ve been lucky to film more than a few weddings at Barr Mansion over the years.
Here’s to many more weddings at

through the eyes of PhotoHouse Films
An iconic introduction to the estate, the Mansion Porch captures the romance of 19th-century Victorian architecture. Framed by delicate gingerbread woodwork and wrapped in natural light, this expansive outdoor space offers a timeless background for arrival cocktails, quiet portraits, or intimate outdoor toasts. It connects historic southern charm with a relaxed, breezy feel.
Anchored by the sweeping canopy of a centuries-old pecan tree, this open-air setting serves as a natural backdrop for ceremonies and outdoor receptions. The dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves creates an organic frame for key moments. Surrounded by mature greenery and sprawling grounds, the Pecan Tree Lawn balances open space with an inviting, grounded warmth.
Designed with comfort and quiet luxury in mind, The Suites offer light-filled private spaces for preparation and quiet moments before the main events. Featuring classic architectural accents, soft neutral palettes, and generous vanity areas, these rooms blend historic character with modern functionality, providing a calm atmosphere to get ready and gather with close friends and family.
A striking combination of rustic heritage and modern glass design, The Glass Ballroom is a light-filled indoor space built around a reclaimed 18th-century timber frame. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls bring views of the surrounding natural landscape indoors while protecting guests from the elements. As dusk sets in, warm lighting lights up the structural wood beams and soaring glass walls, creating an inviting venue for dining and dancing.
Embodying a true farm-to-table approach, The Farmstead is a culinary space centered around organic gardens and rustic wood structures. Defined by its connection to fresh, seasonal harvests, this location offers an authentic, unpretentious charm. It serves as an ideal setting for family-style dining, interactive food stations, or relaxed gatherings centered around fresh, local food.

Two photographers on every collection. One camera can only ever be in one place, and the moment you will want back is rarely the one everybody was already pointed at.
— Collections from $7,700
One team, one timeline, one plan. Nobody meets for the first time at your first look, and your gallery and your film look like the same wedding — because they were.
— Collections from $3,800
A photograph holds what the day looked like. It cannot hold your father's voice breaking halfway through the toast, or the fifteen seconds before the doors opened when nobody was talking yet.
Get on a call with us and we will build the filming timeline for your day at Barr Mansion. When to do your first look so the Pecan Tree Lawn is still warm. How long portraits on the the Farmstead actually take once someone's mother is involved. Where the toasts should sit in the Glass Ballroom so they can be recorded properly rather than hopefully.
It is yours whether you hire us or not. Take it to whoever you end up booking — it will still be a better day.
