From the architecture and thoughtful details to the way the spaces transition from one moment to the next, there is something about photographing and filming a wedding here that gives us a lot to work with. The property has a sense of place that comes through naturally in photographs and film without ever taking attention away from the people at the center of the day.
We’ve had the opportunity to work with Hotel Ella for a handful of weddings, and each time, we’re reminded how much a thoughtfully designed space can add to the way a wedding is remembered. The light, the textures, the courtyards, the architecture, these details give us more ways to tell the story and create imagery that feels connected to the place where it happened.

Enclosed by lush greenery and fragrant blooms, this beautifully designed courtyard offers a serene, open-air setting for al fresco celebrations. As golden hour shifts into evening, custom twinkle lights reflect across the water to cast a soft, warm glow—creating an intimate, elevated backdrop for cocktail hours and late-night toasts.

BALLROOM
Shimmering chandeliers illuminate every corner of this refined ballroom, casting a soft, flattering glow across its polished flooring. Complete with stylish, permanent bar setups, the space provides clean dimensional light and sophisticated backdrops for both formal seated dinners and energetic evening dancing.
Serving as the central transition between the lush garden grounds and the historic veranda, this prominent stone staircase creates a dramatic, elevated focal point.
