WOODBINE MANSION, THROUGH OUR LENS
We should say something about the team at Woodbine Mansion, because after enough years of working there, you stop thinking of it as just another venue.
Woodbine Mansion is uniquely special to shoot at.
We've been photographing and filming weddings there since at least 2021, and in that time we've watched the mansion dress up for every season and every kind of couple. We've worked alongside different members of the team, watched the property evolve, and started to feel less like a vendor showing up for the day and more like part of the crew.
It starts with the space and setting.
The team behind Woodbine runs it the way you'd hope every venue would: they communicate, they think ahead, and they make sure the right people are in the right place at the right time. The best wedding days are usually the ones where somebody solved a problem before the couple ever knew there was one. Their team works that way.
Every detail creates an effortless canvas.
Every backdrop makes moments feel iconic.
We've watched this team manage full wedding weekends, back-to-back events, changing timelines, and all of the small things happening behind the scenes while everyone else is just looking at the view.
The focus remains entirely on the couple.
The setting simply completes the vision.
Woodbine Mansion has supported PhotoHouse Films in the same way.
They've trusted us with their couples, shared our films with theirs, sent us the vendor trailers we've made for their weddings, and kept bringing us back year after year, from the love story we blogged for Kaitlyn & Thomas in 2021 to the trailers we've since made for the couples who've married there.
A venue that truly elevates cinema.
If Woodbine Mansion is on your list, we would tell you to book it whether or not you ever call us.

That kind of relationship isn't built from one good wedding. It comes from years of watching each other work and continuing to show up for each other. We're proud to be one of Woodbine Mansion's longtime vendor partners. But if you asked us what matters more, it's the friendship behind it.
From the Grand Entrance to the West Trellis Lawn and the East Magnolia Lawn, explore the distinctive, Greek Revival spaces that shape an unforgettable wedding day at Woodbine Mansion in Round Rock, Texas.
through the eyes of PhotoHouse Films
Framed by symmetry, towering white columns, and historic brick steps, the Grand Entrance at Woodbine Mansion serves as an iconic focal point with timeless, editorial scale. The brilliant front façade doubles as a massive natural reflector, bouncing soft and beautifully even light across the entrance. By eliminating harsh facial shadows, it allows photographers to capture rich textures, crisp architectural detail, and clean skin tones. It provides an ideal setting for dramatic bridal reveals, high-fashion portraits, and unforgettable departure shots.
The West Trellis Lawn gives us a quiet balance of clean structure, natural depth, and soft shade. Its architectural trellis creates clear leading lines that naturally pull focus toward couples, bringing built-in dimension to every frame. As afternoon light filters through the surrounding canopy, it creates soft rim light and warm pockets of illumination that work beautifully for real, candid moments and golden-hour portraits. The open layout lets us move around freely without getting in the way, making it easy to capture genuine emotion up close while still documenting the full sense of space.
The East Magnolia Lawn offers a private, garden-inspired setting defined by rich greenery and soft, filtered light. Deep green magnolia leaves absorb harsh glare to create a rich backdrop where bridal gowns and floral details stand out with clear, subtle contrast. The natural canopy provides steady, indirect shade all afternoon before turning into a warm glow as dusk settles. Because of that consistent light, we love working in this space for cocktail-hour candids, ceremony setups, and relaxed group portraits as the day unfolds.

— Collections from $4,200
Two photographers on every collection. One camera can only ever be in one place, and the moment you will want back is rarely the one everybody was already pointed at.
— Collections from $7,700
One team, one timeline, one plan. Nobody meets for the first time at your first look, and your gallery and your film look like the same wedding — because they were.
— Collections from $3,800
A photograph holds what the day looked like. It cannot hold your father's voice breaking halfway through the toast, or the fifteen seconds before the doors opened when nobody was talking yet.
We will get on a call with you to build a practical filming timeline for your day at Woodbine Mansion. We will pinpoint the best time for your first look so the private suites feel calm and unhurried. We will build real buffer room into portraits on the lawn so family photos run smoothly, and we will map out speech placements in the main hall so every toast is filmed intentionally.
It is yours whether you hire us or not. Take it to whoever you end up booking — it will still be a better day.
